Darren Trinh

Student Intern
My family history is one of resilience, ethnically Teochew Chinese, my parents were displaced by civil conflict in Vietnam and came to Canada as refugees. I understand the challenges of building a new life while striving to honour the past.

My counselling approach integrates emotional, physiological, and social pathways to support lasting positive change. I work with individuals and groups navigating identity, building resilience, and managing challenges such as depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma and PTSD, eating disorders, self-esteem issues, life transitions, emotional regulation, stress management, and attachment disorders.

We are the protagonists of our own lives, yet no story unfolds without supporting characters. Your choice to step into therapy is a courageous step toward writing new and more fulfilling chapters.
